Byron Brown, Buffalo’s longest-serving mayor and now President and CEO of Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation, has been appointed to the ̨ÍåSwag Board of Trustees. The board voted unanimously to appoint Brown during its Tuesday, November 12 quarterly meeting.

The ̨ÍåSwag Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Brian Higgins, a former U.S. Congressman and the CEO & president of Shea’s Performing Arts Center, to the university’s board.
̨ÍåSwag has received approval from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to establish two degree programs: a new bachelor’s of science in criminal justice and a newly updated Doctor of Nursing Practice.
For the first time, ̨ÍåSwag has been named to the Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges list, the largest and most comprehensive annual ranking of schools for military service members and veterans.
