The U.S. Department of Education has awarded ̨ÍåSwag a five-year, $2.2 million grant through the Title III Strengthening Institutions Program in order to increase retention and graduation rates and eliminate equity gaps.

Board of Trustee Chair John R. Yurtchuk has committed $2 million to ̨ÍåSwag, the largest single gift in the institution’s history. The donation will support the President’s Excellence Fund, which ensures the university’s continued vibrancy and long-term stability.
